Spoak Your Space with $5,000 and a free Spoak account

Do you have a renovation project in mind but don’t have the budget handy yet? Are you an aspiring interior designer just waiting for your first real design project to start your portfolio out strong? Do you have a space that desperately needs attention in your home, and you want to tap someone in your community to redesign the space for you?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, you need to hear about Spoak your Space! Spoak Your Space is a free community initiative by Spoak co-founder and Inc. 250 winner Hilah Stahl. We believe that anyone can be a great designer, and we want to give someone that chance by funding a room refresh! We’re giving away a free Spoak account along with a $5,000 budget for you to use to refresh one space in your house. Not only are we footing the bill, but you’ll have access to all of our design tools and exclusive brand discounts from our partners.

What’s the catch, you may ask? 

Well, there is a small one. We want you to document your design process along the way. We want to share how you use Spoak to transform your space into your dream room. This could mean documenting before and after photos, documenting any paint or wallpaper application, showing us how you designed the space using Viz, explaining the vision and the execution. Get creative! We want you to share your specific design process and how you achieved designing your dream space with $5,000.

How do I enter?

You’ll need to fill out an application form, and tell us all about your room refresh idea. We want to see a photo of your “before” space and we want to hear all about your vision. Tell us how you’d transform the room! If you communicate visually (we know a lot of creatives do) we encourage you to upload a mood board to really translate the vibe. Show us what furniture pieces or colors you have in mind and let the feeling of the space speak for itself. Lastly, share any prior design work you’ve completed. This is not mandatory, as we encourage designers of all stages in their design journey to apply! If you don’t have photos of a previous project to share, you can design a room in Spoak and attach it to your application. We just want your unique style and perspective to shine through.

What if I have a space in mind, but I want someone else to design it?

We believe that friendships and community make the design world better! If you don’t feel up to the challenge to tackle this space on your own, tap in a friend! Mention their email in your application as the designer of your space.
