Frustrated by the lack of user-friendly design tools and resources while decorating her first apartment, Hilah founded Spoak in 2019. Ever since, she’s been on a mission to build ✨ the best ✨ platform and community for interior design enthusiasts and professionals. In 2024, she was named to Inc.'s Female Founder 250 list.

Prior to Spoak (⏳ was there ever such a time?), Hilah was a product leader at Bonobos, Gilt Groupe, and Eko Video. She studied economics, international relations, and journalism at Duke University.

Hilah now lives in the Hudson Valley, by way of Minnesota, New York City, and Berlin. She is passionate about coffee, ceramics, and overalls. When not Spoaking, you can find her outside exploring, reading, making amateur pottery, or vintage hunting.
