A stool is a seat (or decorative piece, depending on how you look at it!) without a back or arms, usually resting on a single pedestal or three or four legs. Unlike a counter stool, it comes at a much lower seat height (usually 13"-18"). Stools come in all different shapes and sizes, with just as many use cases in design. Use a stool as an extra seating option that’s easily movable, or place it next to a sofa as an accent table to hold your drinking glass. There are no rules here!
